I recently launched a new redesign for the Red River Electric Coop web site. The last design had been created some time ago; there were meta tags in the HTML from MS Front Page if that give any indication. The newest feature to the site, besides the total design overhaul, is the integration of the site into a content management system so that the site owners can update about 90% of the content with out any assistance from me.
The Old Site

The old design utilized a 100% fluid layout, very few included files for easy editing, and all HTML pages were original generated in Front Page.
The New Site

The new, current design lends little from the old design other than wording. The is a two tiered navigation that is build with the help of All Web Menus, a design that is built to fit on monitor sizes down to 800 px wide ( a standard I try to adhere to), and dynamic content coming from a database driven CMS. The layout is to be clean with an emphasis on green energy.
The site owners are very happy with the results This project has spanned from August 09 until current.
